The Story of Chicago's Pareja Medical Center
The Old Clinic
In early 2005, Dr. Augusto Pareja through a partnership with Mercy Medical Center came to Sawyer Medical Center to provide a boost to the long-time providers already in place. By the middle of 2005, it was confirmed that this was a positively strategic move for the future of patient health care in the community. By early 2006 and as Dr. Pareja became more established, support staff was added to assist with the burgeoning patient traffic. As patients began to get better, they told their family and friends, and it was again confirmed that a positive, empowering health care experience had to endure at 55th and Kedzie. Indeed, Pareja Medical Center was becoming a new kind of clinic restoring health and youth.
A New Kind of Clinic Restoring Health and Youth
The dream of Pareja Medical Center is to be a leader in Chicago and the USA in integrated medicine. However, that dream could be distant and cold if we did not exist first and foremost to help people, yes, real people like you, in our community and all over the metro area get their health back. Frankly, we think it would be great to see people get their health back and maintain it in such a way that they don't need to keep going to clinics and hospitals. We've started to see this, and we hope to spread the joy that a healthy body is still within reach. Many people have seen the story of their lives (disease and pain) change to only a chapter. For the Pareja Medical Center family, that is worth it!
