Medical Providers

Dr. Augusto N. Pareja    
(pronounced pah-RAY-ha)

Augusto N. Pareja, M.D., was born in Cartagena, Colombia S.A. and came to the U.S. in 1964. He worked as a Respiratory Supervisor and Therapist for almost 10 years before attending medical school.  Dr. Pareja completed his Family Practice Residency at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago on June 30, 1984.  He has a variety of medical experience from working as an Emergency Room Physician to being the Medical Director of Resurrection Urgent Care Centers.  He was in private practice in Olympia Fields, Illinois from 1990-2001, when he relocated to be closer to his wife's parents.  He is at his present clinic since 2003 where he has a busy and growing medical practice.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Holistic Medicine. He has been honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, but has also completed rigorous training to be Board Certified by the American Academy of Holistic Medicine. Dr. Pareja has over 40 years experience in the medical field. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Indiana. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

He is married to his wife, Moni for 37 years and has two adult sons and three grandchildren.

Nelly Lopez

Nelly has been the sonographer for PMC since February 2007. Her certification and experience are in ultrasound technology, live 3D/4D and nerve conduction velocity.

Cecilia Gimenez

Cecilia is a medical assistant and has been with us since November 2006. She is currently working toward a BSN at Morton College.

Support Staff

David M. Pareja

David is the director of non-medical operations at the Center. He is a certified laser technician and certified in the Bio-Meridian medical testing. He has been a part of Pareja Medical Center since January 2006.

Jill Arnold

Jill oversees the accounting of PMC and is in charge of purchasing. She has worked for Dr. Pareja for 3 years.

Ron Blum

Ron is the office administrator at PMC. He has worked for Dr. Pareja in the past and has been serving in his current post for more than 2 years.

Diana Paredes

Diana plays the “front face” of Pareja Medical Center as our receptionist. She has a medical assistant’s certificate from Robert Morris College, downtown Chicago and has been with us since August 2007. E-mail Diana

Will Pareja

Will oversees the marketing of PMC and dabbles in various other business strategy projects. He has been on board since January 2007.
